Here is some nursing bra advice I have recently come across in an email from Niki, Thanks Niki!
Bravado is definitely the best on the market. Then once you've got the hang of things, like when the baby is 3 months old or so, it's worth it to go to a department store and get properly measured so you can buy a "bra" nursing bra. The bravado tanks and bras are great for those first three months when you need lots of support and are nursing ALL the time. And they're great for fitting as your body goes through so many changes. But they don't make your boobs look that great and don't offer much support, so by the time you're three months into life with a baby you might be ready for a more flattering bra you can wear to the office, etc. But don't buy that yet because you won't know your size until you get there.
One of our mom's following us in Kansas City emailed me to give a word out about breast pads. Sckoon organic breast pads are awesome according to Jo. They are thicker, much more comfy than the disposables, can wash them and re use and great for sleeping. So mom's check out 'Sckoon breast pads'.
ReplyDeleteI also like the Avent breast pads. They are really soft but I can only find them online. I have a box of 100 and now that Kingston is not bfing, I can pass them on to anyone that wants to try them. Also, I recommend getting some sleep bras for nighttime and around the house. They are much more comfortable than the underwire bra styles. I have the Target brand and they are cool and economical. A 2-pack is like $20.
